“Truc Chi” Handmade Artworks (Circular Shape)

Truc Chi Art is a unique form of Vietnamese paper art, pioneered by artist and lecturer Phan Hai Bang from Hue. Made primarily from bamboo, rattan, and natural plant fibers, Truc Chi is not just handmade paper—it is an art form that embodies light, texture, and soul.

Unlike conventional paper, Truc Chi is created through a special handcrafting process in which the artist uses water pressure to shape patterns and compositions during the papermaking stage itself. When illuminated, the delicate fiber layers reveal subtle shades and intricate designs, producing a captivating and ethereal visual effect.
